Well, I finally did it! I walked on my treadmill for 15 minutes. I only walked that long as I am getting used to my new exercise shoes, you know the ones out now that are suppose to build up your butt and legs. I also did 15 minutes of free weights. It is a start. I didn't want to kill myself the first day. My knee was hurting during the walking, but I did not stop! I hope I won't be too sore tomorrow and I plan on walking again and doing some of the Wii fit exercises. If I start slow, I will hopefully keep at it. Keeping a food diary is hard. I still haven't eaten all the calories for today, but it is late and I don't want to eat more. I have to start eating the allotted amount or I won't lose this weight. The nutritionist told me I did not eat enough, so my body thinks I am starving it. Go figure! So now I have to eat the right amount of the right foods. It is so hard to eat when you aren't hungry. I think that is a side effect of diabetes. My Dad told me that when I told him he needed to eat the right amount of calories a day. Now that I have diabetes, I know what he was talking about.
So you see, Julie, I did it finally. Thanks for the nagging. Love you too!
I have the butt shaper shoes too! haha I've had them since oh...Mother's Day and I do wear them but not for any length of time that has me feeling like they're working. I'm sure you'll keep us updated on if you think they work :)
